Via the Chesapeake Expressway (Exit 291 off I-64)
Hwy 168 (Chesapeake Expressway) is a fast and convenient four-lane divided highway linking I-64 in Chesapeake to North Carolina and the Outer Banks.

From Washington DC and Richmond
Take I-64 through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel) to Exit 291. Continue south on Hwy 168 which becomes US-158 East at Barco, NC. Follow US-158 south to the Outer Banks.

From the West & South
From I-95 take Route 64 east at Rocky Mount, NC. Then take exit 515 at Williamston, NC to continue on Route 64 to the Outer Banks.

From the Eastern Shore & North
Follow US-13 South from Chesapeake Bay Bridge - Tunnel to I-64. Follow signs to Chesapeake, VA. Get off I-64 at Exit 291 and follow Hwy 168 South continuing onto US-158 at Barco, NC. Follow US-158 south to the Outer Banks.
